Vibrating feeder is a kind of equipment
used to uniformly and quantitatively feed bulk and granular materials from the
silo or storage hopper to the receiving device. It plays a huge role in
material handling.
I. In terms of uniform feeding
1. Precise control of flow: The vibrating
feeder can precisely control the flow of materials by adjusting parameters such
as vibration frequency and amplitude. For example, in the ore processing
industry, when ore needs to be transported from the silo to the crusher, the
vibrating feeder can supply ore uniformly at a set speed. This can ensure that
the crusher operates in a relatively stable working state, avoiding clogging of
the crusher due to excessive materials or idling of the equipment due to insufficient
materials, reducing the production efficiency of the equipment.
2. Ensure stable quality of subsequent
processes: In chemical production, for some process processes that require
precise batching, the vibrating feeder can ensure that various raw materials
are uniformly supplied to equipment such as reactors in appropriate
proportions. Taking the production of a certain compound fertilizer as an
example, nitrogen fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer, potassium fertilizer and
other multiple raw materials need to be uniformly mixed. The vibrating feeder
can make each raw material stably enter the mixing equipment to ensure the
accurate proportion of the components of the compound fertilizer, thereby
ensuring the stability of product quality.
II. In terms of material transportation
1. Realize efficient transportation: The
vibrating feeder can transport materials from one location to another,
especially for some materials with poor fluidity such as granular and blocky
materials. It uses the power generated by vibration to make the materials have
a forward movement trend on the trough body. For example, in the construction
industry, it is used to transport building materials such as sand and gravel.
If these materials rely on natural flow, it will be relatively slow, and the
vibrating feeder can quickly transport them to equipment such as mixers,
improving the work efficiency of the entire building material processing.
2. Adapt to various material
characteristics: It can handle materials with various different
characteristics, including wet and sticky materials. For example, in ceramic
production, sometimes the raw materials are somewhat sticky, and the vibrating
feeder can still effectively transport them. Because vibration can break the
sticky connection between materials and make the materials move smoothly on the
trough body.
III. In terms of preliminary treatment of material screening
Simple screening function: The vibrating
feeder can also perform preliminary screening of materials during the feeding
process. Its vibration effect can make smaller particles pass through the
screen on the trough body, while larger particles continue to move forward on
the trough body. In the coal processing industry, after coal is mined from the
mine, it contains particles of various sizes. The vibrating feeder can screen
out finer particles such as pulverized coal. Coarse-grained coal is then
continuously transported to subsequent washing or crushing processes. In this
way, a part of qualified products can be separated in advance, and it is also
conducive to the further processing of coarse-grained coal in the future.
According to different driving methods, we
can divide vibrating feeders into motor vibrating feeders and electromagnetic
vibrating feeders. They have their own advantages. The motor vibrating feeder
has a large conveying capacity and is relatively inexpensive. The
electromagnetic vibrating feeder handles materials gently and is convenient for
speed adjustment, but the price is relatively high.
VRV is an expert in manufacturing vibrating
feeders. We can customize feeders according to customer needs. According to the
advantages of motor feeders and electromagnetic feeders, we can combine the
two. Make this feeding system an important link in the material handling
production line.
